How many grandmothers told us the (extra pinch of) secret spice was love? I like to imagine a lot of that specific spice ground in this vintage spice/rice grinder. Beautiful bleached wood, with intricate hand-carved detailing and ancient iron hardware holding the cracks of time from splitting further. It is likely from the 19th century and from Northern Indian tribal culture. We added a fitted piece of glass to use it currently as a side table, you choose which end to display.
